3 Charlotte Tilbury Dupes that Actually Perform like the Original

How many times have you read about a Charlotte Tilbury dupe or any dupe and went to buy it only to find it’s nothing like the high end product? I take the word “dupe” very seriously and perform wear tests and ingredient checks to see if it just looks similar or if it warrants the word “dupe”.

These 3 Charlotte Tilbury dupes passed all of those tests and will save your wallet without sacrificing quality, staying power, or ingredients.

1.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless filter vs elf Halo glow liquid filter

The Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter is a cult favorite product. It works well as a primer under foundation, alone to create a dewey filtered effect, or on top of foundation to add a really natural glow. It’s a beautiful, verstile product but at $46 for the full-size, its not a budget friendly product.

There have been quite a few dupes over the last couple of years: the L’Oreal Glotion, Maybelline 4-in-one Perfector, and the Versed Glow Drops. All of these “dupes” certainly provide a similar effect but they aren’t quite the same. It seemed no one could create a true alternative for the epic Charlotte Tilbury Flawless filter...

Until 2022. The elf Halo Glow Halo Glow Liquid Filter is as close as it comes. It provides a bit of coverage with a radiant finish. I genuinely can’t see the difference when I apply these next to one another.

It needs to be said that even though these two look and perform almost identically, the ingredients aren't a total match. The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless filter is a water and oil-based formula whereas the elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter is a silicone-based formula. That said, you aren’t sacrificing the quality of ingredients as both are filled with skin-loving goodies.

2.

Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin vs the joah beauty crystal glow Prime dation

When the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation went viral on TikTok, I knew I had to try it to see if it lived up to the hype. It’s certainly a gorgeous, hydrating foundation but as soon as I applied it, it immediately reminded me of a much less expensive foundation I already owned.

The Joah Beauty Crystal Glow Primedation has the same texture and medium to full coverage dewy finish. Both contain glycerin, hyaluronic acid and essential oils however the Joah Beauty one also has collagen infused so this is a case when the dupe is actually better than the high end product.

3.

Charlotte Tilbury highlighter wand versus The Flower Beauty liquid Spotlight

Another TikTok-made-me-buy-it product this year was the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highligher Wand. It’s a beautiful liquid highlighter that truly melts into the skin to give a flawless glow. Aside from the fact that you’re paying $40 for .4 ounces of product, the other issue with this highlighter is that it was consistently selling out and difficuly to purchase.

Again, 2022 came through. This year the Flower Beauty released their Flower Beauty Liquid Spotlight and it’s an almost identical product. They have the exact same packaging with a cushion style applicator. Mica is the second ingredient on both of them and glycerin not too far after. They last the exact same amount of time on my skin.
